Definitions

2 In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,

(1) Act means the Companies Act, 2013.
(2) Annexures means an annexure to these rules.
(3) Section means the section of the Act.
(4) Tribunal means the National Company Law Tribunal.
(5) Words and Expressions:-

Save as aforesaid, and unless the context otherwise requires, words and expressions contained in these rules shall bear the same meaning as in the Act, and the General Clauses Act, 1897 for the interpretation of these rules, and save as above words and expressions contained in Companies Rules, 2013, National Company Law Tribunal Rules, 2013 and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal Rules, 2013 shall apply to these rules.
